√ BRIEF ELEVATOR PITCH
This should quickly explain what is being sold, who it benefits and why someone should buy it.
√ ENVELOPE FOR COLLECTING MONEY & FORMS
Make sure the envelope features your order deadline and each seller’s individual fundraising goal.
Bonus Points: Include a sample completed order form to help sellers answer questions about what goes where.
√ SAMPLES OF THE PRODUCT
This is super important! Send a sample home with each family to help them really SHOW the value. This more than any other tactic will improve your fundraising results.
Answer commonly asked questions about the product and give your sellers good ideas for overcoming common objections.
√ GOALS AND REWARDS INFO SHEET
Include the seller’s individual goal, overall fundraising goal and a description of the incentives & rewards each individual (and team) can earn.
√ POSTERS AND POSTCARDS
Encourage your sellers to hang posters and hand out fliers in their favorite neighborhood hangouts (with permission of the business owner). Many hands make light poster work!
Prep a digital version of your toolkit!
Make sure all forms, checklists & cheat sheets can also be emailed out and/or downloaded from a convenient website. Not everyone is free to attend a meeting or kickoff event, so make it easy for them to start selling even if you never meet them face to face.
