Ready to reach new heights of success on your next fundraiser? Here's your step by step guide to creating an easier and more effective fundraiser that will supercharge your results!
Fundraisers that run for a 2 to 3 week duration often perform better than longer campaigns because they create a sense of urgency and avoid seller and buyer fatigue.
Identify who in your community should join your selling team (every family in your group, one classroom, PTA members, staff, etc.) and invite them to a launch party to get them excited. Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Before you launch, put together a convenient packet for each of your sellers with all the tools they need to sell! Each packet should include necessary forms, a reminder about goals, rewards and deadlines, and some easy tips and suggestions to help them GET SELLING.
Break your fundraising goal down into daily & weekly targets for each promoter. That makes the goal feel more reachable and builds in lots of LITTLE successes to keep people inspired and motivated.
It takes at least 3 times seeing a promotion before a person will usually take action. Make sure your fundraiser is visible in high traffic areas near your school or organization.

You can reach a lot more people quickly and efficiently by incorporating email and social media into your promotion plans.
The more salespeople, the more sales. Get as many students/faculty/staff as possible organized around the effort and encourage them to actively sell person-to-person, as opposed to simply putting up posters and waiting for orders to roll in.

Not all rewards are financial. Keep your community motivated with a mixture of recognition for your best sellers and encouragement for your hesitant promoters. Offer group rewards that everyone can feel good about.
At the end of your fundraiser, announce a specified time and place to hand in all final payments collected and return samples and other leftover materials.
Have a calculator, extra pens, and extra copies of all relevant forms available at the turn-in location so the seller can easily complete any remaining paperwork.
That's it! We hope these tips will help you boost your results no matter what fundraising organization you choose to partner with. Chinook Book would be honored to help you achieve your goals.
